1.        ¿When was RAI created?

 

It was born in 1994. It was the first nationwide Academy to be created under Juan Carlos I reign. The agronomist Elías Fereres is currently its President.

3.        ¿How is the Royal Academy of Engineering composed?

 

The most important active of the Royal Academy of Engineering are its members: 60 distinguished professionals of every branch of knowledge in the fields of engineering and architecture.

 

4.        ¿Who is represented by the Royal Academy of Engineering?

 

The Royal Academy of Engineering represents every branch in engineering: aeronautics, agronomy, civil building, forestry, industrial, computer, mines, naval, chemistry, telecommunications, topography, geodesy and cartography, as long as architecture.

 

5.        ¿Which activities are done in the Royal Academy of Engineering?

 

The most important activity for the Royal Academy of Engineering is service to people. In order to achieve this, it has got the help of the "Pro Rebus Academiae" Foundation, in which are represented: distinguished universities, important companies of the country and professional organizations.
